The AWS Acadiana Section is pleased to host its first annual one-day educational seminar. This year, the emphasis is on welding repairs. The seminar will address carbon steel, aluminum, high nickle alloys, hard facing repairs, filler metals designed for repair welding and Quality Assurance. Our speakers will address when repairs are required, review applicable codes, and discuss essential variables.
This seminar will be of value for anyone involved in welding, including: shop foremen, superintendents, welders, welding inspectors, quality control personnel, professional engineers, and students of metals related disciplines. 8 Professional Development Hours (PDH’s) will be awarded to attendees.
