This is also the time of year when the American Welding Society scholarship application process should begin. If you have a son, daughter, niece, nephew, neighbor it does not matter, AWS membership is not required to be eligible to receive a scholarship.

Educator Scholarships:  Educator Scholarships are awarded to current welding educators or individuals pursuing a career in welding education. National Level scholarships require applicants be enrolled in a college or university and be pursuing an AS, AAS, BS, MS, or PhD degree in an area related to welding.

The way you apply for these is simple. The student applicant goes to www.scholarship.aws.org. Or just type scholarship.aws.org in the search engine line and your in. Now they need to create their own account. They won’t need to complete everything the first time. There is information that needs to be entered. Gather the information and log in again later and fill in the blanks. They can apply for a scholarship’s in all of the categories.

Okay, now its up to YOU AWS Boston members to pass this along, forward this email or pick up your phone, call, text, tweet, face book, face time, messenger make some parent or student who can use some financial assistance happy.
