April 2019 Meeting Announcement
National Welding Month with presentations on
“The importance of welding in our daily lives”

Greetings AWS Central Louisiana Section Members & Friends,

Our next meeting will be on Thursday, April 18th, 2019.

We will be celebrating National Welding Month with presentations on “The importance of welding in our daily lives” and “Welding opportunities that are available in Central Louisiana”. This will be a great meeting to come out and meet other welders and network, especially students that are thinking about making welding their career.

We will also be accepting nominations for the AWS Central Louisiana Section 509 Executive Committee. Our current executive Committee members term will end May 31, 2019, anyone interested in serving on the executive committee please submit your name for consideration. Elections will be held in May at our regular membership meeting and on Survey Monkey.

Our current Executive Committee members are:

    Thomas Malo – Chairman, Acting Treasurer
    Mike Stuchlik – 1st Chair
    Sean Jones – 2nd Chair
    Sammy Bass – Secretary
    Open Position – Treasurer
