October 2019 Section Meeting Notice
Greetings AWS Central Louisiana Section Members & Friends,

Our September meeting topic at the Rod Brady CLTCC was “What companies expect when testing for a welding position”. Many of the attendees were students from the Rod Brady campus who greatly appreciated the insight. If you missed this meeting you can visit our Facebook page and view the meeting in its entirety as we Live stream the meeting on Facebook. I’m thinking this is the first AWS meeting ever live streamed on Facebook.
The winners of the fire pit Raffles were Maureen Devanie (LSU fire-pit) and Brandon Salinas (Saints fire pit) we able to raise over $800.00 to put toward our Scholarship fund. Thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket.
Our next meeting will be in Winnsboro at the Louisiana Delta Community College, the meeting topic will be “Weld effects and Discontinuities” We will again live stream the meeting on Facebook if you can’t make the drive to Winnsboro sign in on Facebook and participate in the meeting.
