Aerospace Brazing – Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow – Mar 16th

Aerospace Brazing — Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
Monday, March 16th, 2020

Greetings Everyone,

World War II seems to have been the catalyst for rapid development in aerospace brazing around the world, and since that time aerospace brazing has mushroomed significantly over the years. The presentation will look at some of the aerospace brazing developments involving early jet-fighters that actually saw service in WWII.

The presentation will briefly explore how brazing has mushroomed in the years that followed, how it is used extensively in both military and commercial aircraft as well as in the production of rockets and manned space-flight capsules. These brief looks will also highlight developments in brazing technology over the years, leading to today’s state-of-the art furnaces, fixture-materials, and techniques that will open new doors to tomorrow’s brazing technologies.
