February 2019 Meeting Notice

Below are the details of our upcoming meeting.

TOPIC
Nondestructive Testing
Mike Ray of Acuren will give a talk about nondestructive testing.

Mike Ray is the Quality Assurance Manager and Level – Ill for Acuren Inspection here in Longview. Mike has been in the NDT industry since 1978 and with Acuren inspection since 1998. Mike started his career with Ultrasonic Specialist Inc. out of Houston as an assistant radiographer and before his departure in 1991 served as Operations Manager and received his L-111 certifications in RT, UT, MT, PT. In 1991 Mike moved to the Virgin Islands and managed over a sixty technician workforce overseeing the NDT on new construction and the maintenance program for Hess Oil on St Croix. After forty-two years in the NDT industry he is looking forward to retirement at the end of this year.
