Welding Education Night at Lakeshore Technical College

The second October meeting of the AWS Lakeshore Section will be a welding education event hosted by Lakeshore Technical College. The event will include live demonstrations by section members of various welding processes, scholarship information for students, and an informational session about how the AWS can help aspiring welders further their education, industry knowledge, and build a professional network.
Section members are encouraged to come see the latest additions to the welding program at LTC, and interact with students who are interested in joining the welding field.
The Welding Lab is located in the PEM Building − See map on page 2 of the Section flyer.
Food will be provided at the event for the students; a members dinner will be held offsite, following the completion of the event.
During dinner there will be a 50/50 raffle
to raise money for the scholarship fund.
