April 2019 Meeting Announcement

Dear AWS Lancaster Members,

We are excited to announce a presentation on “Career Paths in the Welding Field” presented by various professionals in the welding field to include: Welder, CWI, Instructor, Welding Sales Representative/Engineer, Underwater Welder and Welding Engineer.

EVENT:
Are you interested in the field of welding, but not sure what career options are available? This presentation will be a great opportunity for you to learn about a variety of welding careers from professionals who have held these roles. There will be guest speakers representing a variety of welding fields which will include Welders, Underwater Welders, Inspectors, Instructors, Welding Sales and Welding Engineering. Each career professional will provide a brief description of what it is like to work in their field as well as the path they took to get there. The presentation will be open for questions throughout so you will have an opportunity to ask about what type of education or certification is needed, job options or other aspects of the various careers.
