Grinding and Cutting Hands-on Demos and Presentation
Wednesday, October 30th, 2019

Dear members,

Check out October’s Section Newsletter

Join us for an evening with free dinner and hands-on demos of grinding and cutting tools!

Our hosts, Jerry Dillon from Weiler Abrasives and Tim Mcanaha from May Tool, Inc, are experts in grinding and cutting tools and abrasives.

Weiler Abrasives is one of the largest wire wheel manufacturer in the world and acquired an abrasives manufacturer in Europe three years ago. Weiler Abrasives Group’s heritage dates to 1879. Today, the tradition of excellence continues under the leadership of the fourth generation, Chris Weiler, CEO. District Sales Manager, Jerry Dillon, has years of experience in helping customers select proper tools and abrasives for their work and providing training on safety and proper use of power tools and abrasives.

MAY TOOL, INC is a family owned and operated general blacksmith shop that manufactures digging bars, pry tools, meter keys and more. They sell and service air tools, tool steel and drilling tools. Their tool steel service includes re-forging, sharpening and heat treating. They have a modern machine shop that we use to manufacture custom machine parts for our customers and to make parts for a May Tool model of ring and circle shear machine. Tim Mcanaha will provide us with a tour and hands-on demos.

At the end, we will have our 50/50 Cash Raffle, plus other awesome prizes donated by our industry partners, including tools and abrasives!
