Greetings AWS Section Members,
Our section will be holding student night on Thursday night March 19, 2020 at 6:00 pm, at East Mississippi Community College Golden Triangle Campus in Mayhew, MS. We have a great night planned filled with food, door prizes and a great presentation from Joe Cowart, Director of Industrial Engineering and Quality at Taylor Machine Works in Louisville, MS.
His presentation will be on the basic history of Taylor Machine Works and how the trades are instrumental to the future of manufacturing.
Our purpose of this meeting is to catch the interest of all students who come and inform them about American Welding Society and career opportunities in welding. Last year we had over a hundred and forty in attendance. So this year we hope to see you all there to visit and inform our future Welders.
