TOPIC
AWS − The First 100 Years. Join us as we learn about the critical role the American Welding Society has played in the advancement of the science and art of welding. We will take a look at some of the men and women who have played instrumental roles in the shaping of our society and as a result, shaped the world in which we now live.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Welders, Job Seekers, Employers, Welding Students and Educators,
Welding and Fabrication Workers, Welding and Manufacturing Supervisors, and anyone interested in the advancement of our manufacturing industry.
Membership in the American Welding Society is not required to attend. However, in light of the many benefits that members of the AWS enjoy, it is highly encouraged.

PRESENTER
Tom Lienert, AWS President 2019 was formerly a technical staff member and a R&D Engineer 4 at Los Alamos National Laboratory for more than 16 years. He is also an active member and officer of several national-level committees, has served as Chairman of the New Mexico Section, and has been named an AWS Fellow.
