AWS San Francisco Section Opportunities
Members of the AWS San Francisco Section:
The San Francisco Section is seeking leaders to ensure the Section can continue to provide value for the 656 active AWS Members – and countless others involved in the industry – in the San Francisco area.
Executive Committee roles, such as Section Vice Chair and Secretary, as well as Section Committee roles, such as Section Membership Committee Chairperson, Certification Committee Chairperson, Publicity Committee Chairperson, and Student Member Liaison are available for the coming year (one-year terms beginning in July) and allow individuals with an interest of applying existing leadership skills – or those who are interested in developing/refining leadership skills – to make a significant impact in an area they are passionate about.

Not ready for an Executive Committee role but still want to help?
There are opportunities for anyone who is interested in becoming more involved to make an impact regardless of experience or free time. This is your Section, and we want it to deliver as much value for you as possible. The only way we can do that is by gaining your input. Have an idea for an outing that would interest members? Want to serve as a speaker for an upcoming meeting? Have a location that could host a Section meeting/event? Have special skills (marketing, social media, event planning, etc.) that you would like to share? Does your company have items to donate that the Section could raffle off?
Let us know how you would like to contribute to the development of the AWS San Francisco Section, and we will gladly try to find the most appropriate way to engage you.
