This 4-hour seminar will discuss in detail the requirements that must be followed to qualify welding procedures and welders according to AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code – Steel. It will also help the attendee gain an understanding of the effects that welding variables have on quality, productivity and cost. A panel of experts will be available to answer questions regarding qualifications per AWS D1.1 and other AWS codes and standards such as D1.2 (Aluminum), D1.6 (Stainless Steel) and B2.1. Although the focus is primarily on AWS codes the panel can also answer questions related to ASME BPVC Section IX and API 1104.

Attendees will receive a certificate of completion and credited 4 hours of professional development.
