October 16, 2021 – South Louisiana Community College; Evangeline, LA
On Oct. 16, 2021, AWS Acadiana Section Chair Tom Reynolds visited the Evangeline Campus of the South Louisiana Community College.
Tom met up with welding instructor Joshua Lasseigne and his three welding students and spoke to them about the advantages of AWS membership and then proceeded to raffle off an Auto Darkening Welding Shield that had been donated by the AWS Foundation.
Seth Cashat was the welding shield winner.
Tom also passed out welding gloves to Seth Cashat, Reginald Randle and Alexandra Perez. The gloves were donated by Lincoln Electric.
