• Safety Topic – Weather, Driving, Icy roads (Leslie)
• Attendee Intro – Leslie Dougherty (Juneau), Robert Davis (Seward), Lou Alvord (Big Lake)
• Treasurer’s Report – No treasury update
• Section 19 Conference Meeting, Brief –Website posting to did not include agenda, and director’s report
• AWS Alaska Section 125, Section Officers and Volunteers needed – Monthly announcement
• 2022-2023 Alaska Section Monthly Meeting Discussions – Sheet Metal Union, Anchorage Training Center, acquired a Laser Welder. Maybe they can have a demo meeting at their training center.
  – Lou recommended sending a consensus email for monthly meetings best day and time of day.

• AWS Alaska Section Bylaws – Email distribute old by-laws and DRAFTed (revised) by-laws for review.   Will discuss at upcoming meetings.
• AWS Alaska, Library status – Nothing done yet.
• Next meeting tentative schedule, Month of October 2022 – Will trying
• Welding process (TBD), Discussion and Videos – Plastic container, opening safely.   AWS plastic welding committees.
• Open Discussion – Leslie, AKDOT has a research project on rebar welding being done by Ohio State University.
