Xcel travels around the US promoting welding by having welding competitions in local communities. They had local high schools and technical colleges compete. They also had professional teams compete.
The teams fabricated their projects at their schools and brought the projects to the competition to be judged. The Atlanta Section sponsored a booth to promote scholarship and membership benefits.
