Plan to meet at the East Gate, which is on the Auburn side of the river and dam.
The lower gate will be open and he will meet you at the upper gate.
The lower gate is right behind the white Alabama Martin Dam sign visible from US Hwy 50 just before the Tallapoosa River bridge.
