Annual AWS Scholarships

Happy 2022 AWS District One Members:

A friendly reminder that there will be a week long CWI seminar being held at the Carpenters Training Center in Dorchester, MA the week of March 13, with the Part B exam being held on Saturday March 19th. Anyone due for the nine year recertification by exam, this is for you.

It’s that time of the year for students to apply for AWS Foundation Scholarships. There is $2 Million + in Scholarships available in 2022. Scholarships available are National, Districts, Section and District named, Educator Scholarships available.

The deadline to apply for those is March 1, 2022.

There are also Welder Training Scholarships that can be applied for anytime. The scholarship applicant does not have to be an AWS member to apply for these scholarships.

The applicant must apply online at scholarship.aws.org

In Massachusetts to include Nantucket, Dukes, Barnstable, Plymouth, Bristol, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex Counties and Middlesex County.

In Rhode Island to include Newport County.
