Greetings to all American Welding Society Central Louisiana Section Members & Friends. |
Well another year has come and gone and what a year it has been, COVID-19 has disrupted everyone’s life for the past 15 months. But there is a bright side to all of this, due to the vaccines life is starting to get back to some sense of normalcy. It’s been very challenging for all of the Executive Committee trying conduct meeting during this time. We have had several Zoom meetings in the last 6 months, however it’s just not the same as being in person, our hope is to have regular section meeting in person by September. I write you today to announce the new AWS Central Louisiana Section Executive Board members. The new Executive Board was elected unopposed, they are as follows; Section Chairman – Michael Stuchlik 1st Vice Chairman – Sean Jones 2nd Vice Chair – Open Secretary – David Moore Treasurer – Brandon Dubroc Past Chairman – Tom Malo Librarian – Don Sanders Member at Large – Shawn Dabbs
The new Executive Board’s term begins June 1, 2021 and will lead the section into the 2021-2022 year. I wish to congratulate the new Executive Board Members and wish them well in all of the sections endeavors. I personally would like to thank everyone for the help and support of the AWS Central Louisiana Section during my time as Section Chairman it’s been challenging and very satisfying. Our next meeting will be in June so look for the notice in your e-mail.
