TOPIC The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and
Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada or “UA” as it is commonly known is a multi-craft union whose members are engaged in the fabrication, installation and servicing of piping systems. Join us as we learn about the UA apprenticeship program and current opportunities.

PRESENTER
Robert Topete is the Training Coordinator for the UA Local 246 Training Center. Robert will be presenting on the requirements for entry into this exciting apprenticeship program as well as the benefits and growth potential in our local plumbing and pipefitting industry.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Welders, Job Seekers, Employers, Welding Students and Educators, Welding and Fabrication Workers, Welding and Manufacturing Supervisors, and anyone interested in the advancement of our manufacturing industry.
Membership in the American Welding Society is not required to attend. However, in light of the many benefits that members of the AWS enjoy, it is highly encouraged.
