The Cleveland AWS section will be hosting our first in-person meeting of 2022, on Tuesday, April 12th at 6:00pm. The meeting will take place at the Toscana Party Center located at 4972 E. 71st Street, Cuyahoga Heights, OH 44125.

Paul Farace will give a presentation on the history and restoration of the USS Cod Submarine. The USS Cod Submarine Memorial is a National Historic Landmark and consistently voted in the Top 10 list of Cleveland attractions. The sub is regarded as the most accurate and complete restored submarine on display.

Paul has held many positions around the Cleveland area, including positions as a publisher with the Cleveland Press, the Plain Dealer, and a public information officer for NASA Glenn during the Space Shuttle program. He is now the director of the USS Cod memorial.
