American Welding Society Scholarships - Application Deadline March 1, 2024
There is $629,000 for the 2024-2025 Academic Year to students in the Columbus Section through of combination of offerings from the Columbus Section, District 7, and National Scholarships. Every student should apply – many awards go to students with less-than-perfect GPAs.
The Columbus Section is offering $12,000 (likely divided among several awards) to students from within our section’s boundaries (22 Ohio counties). Additionally, AWS District 7 (regional) scholarships are $17,000 and AWS National scholarships surpass $600,000 (all deadlines March 1.)
Apply for the suite of scholarships via the AWS Scholarship Online Portal; the process is simple: register for a free account, complete an academic profile, select from the available scholarships (system only presents scholarships for which the student is eligible), supply any additional information as needed, and finalize the applications.
