Mr. Al Moore is certified per ASNT SNT-TC-1A as a Level III for Radiography, Ultrasonic, Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and Visual Inspection and is an AWS Senior Certified Welding Inspector and Welding Instructor certified by the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute. He has provided skills training for welders, class room training for welder\u2019s workmanship and NDT Training per SNT-TC1A and NAVSEA TP271. He has developed welding procedures per AWS, ASME, Aerospace and NAVSEA Standards, and repair procedures and oversight for weld repairs on large forging presses and equipment located through the United States and overseas. He is recognized by the courts as an expert in welding and NDT and has provided witness testimony in numerous weld related cases.<\/p>

Tonight, Mr. Moore is going to address some of the responsibilities of a verification inspector which includes the proper use and interpretation AWS welding symbols and highlight the necessity of reviewing weld procedure specifications, monitoring welding operations, and verifying the welders are properly qualified for the work that is to be performed.<\/p>

Please register by the due date. The meals at the Elks have to be ordered ahead of time.<\/p>
