Meeting was hosted by Dayton Chapter of ASM and included AWS and ASM, Cincinnati. The speaker outlined efforts to associate more details regarding a parts properties in a standard file format similar to a STEP files used for solid models. This effort is part of the Air Force Material Command working out of Wright Patterson AFB. The meeting was held at the Engineers Club in Dayton which was founded in 1914 and included the Wright Brothers as members.
Dayton Section Chairman, Larry Barley, presented a Meritorious Award to Michael “Ben” Finney for his service to the Section as Treasurer for several years.
