“The American Welding Society” at “The Tunbridge World’s Fair 2023” September 14-17 Thursday-Sunday 8am -8pm. Green and White Mountains Section is hosting their Annual AWS / Welding information formation booth. With live welding/cutting demonstrations, hands on education, industry leaders available to educate the public about who the AWS is, and what we do. 35,000 people from young to old pass though this agricultural fair. And our AWS Welding Booth is Totally AWSome! We will have two really nice mobile welding trucks parked at the booth all 4 days for display and live welding demonstrations of various arc welding, plasma and Oxy-fuel cutting processes. In the AWS tent, will be information on codes, certifications, test samples, scholarships, education, and possibly a Virtual welding simulator. Thank you to everyone that makes this possible! Booth fees were generously donated by The AWS Green and White Mountains Section. And Multi-Weld Services from Contoocook NH. Thank you to all the Volunteers that make this happen. This is a very important event we make happen to give back to the industry that gives us so much in return. “Welding Builds the World!” Besides the Welding Booth, this fair is a one-of-a-kind down-home, old-time country farmers fair. Everything from new farm equipment, Antique hill, black smith forge, animals, cattle showing, rides, music bands at night, ox/horse/tractor pulls, all kinds of exhibits at floral hall, and of course food.
