Alohakakou (Warmest Welcome),

My name is Curtis Naki. I am the new American Welding Society Chairperson for the Hawaii Section (020).

The purpose of this email is to reach out to each member to hear your reasons for joining the American Welding Society and what do you expect in return for joining. Our Section has been inactive for a long time. My intent is to restart the Section in order to meet your needs as members. Our AWS Hawaii Section email address is: [email protected]

  2. What do you expect from AWS and the Hawaii Section?
  3. Presently I am thinking of having our first meeting by teleconference using Zoom. What time is convenient for you for attending a teleconference meeting?
  4. How can you help to have a more active role to AWS and the Hawaii Section?
