2019 Midwest Welding Vendor Meeting

Mid-West Welding Competition 2019 Planning Meeting

Greetings AWS Members and Friends,

Following the Midwest Welding Competition last year (2018), an impromptu meeting was held where vendors expressed concerns, ideas and suggestions. This collaboration between the AWS Section and the vendors has resulted in an implementation of a raffle for the students based on punch cards that will be punched at each vendor’s individual table. We, as a Section, recognize the importance of feedback between both parties as a way to improve, create and evolve the competition and the Welding Fair.

In order to continue growing the competition and the fair, we will be hosting a vendor’s meeting on January 15, 2018 at 6:00PM, located at J.Everett Light Career Center, 1901 E. 86th Street in Indianapolis.  Please bring your ideas, thoughts and suggestions as we team up to make the 41st Midwest Welding Competition and Welding Fair the best one yet.

If you could please RSVP by email at ​[email protected] by January 14, 2018 it would help us to prepare for the gathering. We appreciate your commitment to the future welder’s of America and look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
