The Brant Family/Indiana Oxygen Scholarship

The Brant family has been in the business of providing welding gases and equipment for over a hundred years. Walter and John Brant founded Indiana Oxygen. Their sons, Robert and John, Jr., carried on the family business. Grandson Wally Brant, along with his son, Jay, and daughter, Anne, desire greatly to promote the educational opportunities in welding while honoring the patrons of their family business.

Every year in school is a year without full time income. This is a recognized sacrifice. The Brant Family and Indiana Oxygen Company wish to help defray some of the cost of the pursuit of a formal education in the welding field.

The scholarship is sponsored by the Brant Family and Indiana Oxygen.

AWS Indiana Section Scholarship

This scholarship is funded and managed by the AWS Indiana Section.  If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to email the section at: [email protected].
