The JAK Section held their October meeting at Kankakee Community College on 10/28/2021.
Speaker John Hesseltine, SCWI, Metropolitan Steel, presented on Welding Procedure Specifications and Welder Certification/Qualification to the attendees.
JAK Section is inviting employers to their meetings for interviewing prospective employees, this has been a successful strategy. At this meeting, students were hired by the Caterpillar Corporation and Fabricator LB Steel of Harvey, Illinois.
