October CWI Refresher Seminar

The Kansas City section will be getting together for a tour of the Allen Fieldhouse renovations at KU. This tour will allow members to see the steel structure of the building including the original main column.

This meeting will NOT have a meal due to time constraints for the site. 

We would like members to RSVP with counts so we can prepare. 

If you have a hard hat and safety glasses, please bring them just in case!

We will be meeting on the South side of Allen at Gate 12. This parking lot is free AFTER 5:00pm

The Kansas City Section of the American Welding Society is sponsoring a seminar for a study guide to the CWI examination
 
  • Learn about the test scope
  • Learn the subjects included on the test
  • Learn the source books used to develop the examination
  • Learn about weld quality examination methods and acceptance
  • CEUs can be documented
 
When: October 14, 2023, Saturday morning, 8:30 to noon
Where: Linde Weld, 1608 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64108Linde Weld Productivity Center training room.
 
Use the entrance to the Center by the loading dock near the walk-in store. Park inside the fence, off the street, and enter the building to sign-in.
