Recap: Volunteer work for Establishing an AWS Student Chapter – April 2nd

April 02, 2022 – Egypt V.F.W. Post 7293; Whitehall, PA
As a school, LCTI (Lehigh Career & Technical Institute) is working to setup a AWS student chapter and saw an opportunity to volunteer to help a local VFW post do some spring cleaning around the property. The commander and vice commander of the post wished to clear the debris that blocked the view of the F-14 Tomcat plane from the area below the VFW post. The clearing also helped for members and others to enjoy the amazing view of Allentown, PA. In total, eight students, their advisor, one welding professional and eight members cleared the debris, helped clean up the decorations and required winter barriers for the Spring and Summer seasons.
