The AWS Student Chapter @ San Jacinto High School welcomes you to learn more about our Student Chapter, its members, and our efforts to live the mission of the American Welding Society: a nonprofit organization with a global mission to advance the science, technology and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes, including brazing, soldering and thermal spraying.
AWS Student Chapter @ San Jacinto High School, strives for learning excellence in structural welding and fabrication. Throughout the academic school year, the SJHS Student Chapter participates in several activities and events surrounding welding and the welding industry

- To educate, certify, prepare, and train students in processes, such as GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, PAC, OFC, OFW, Brazing, Soldiering, Cutting/Bending/Pressing/Twisting/Grinding Processes, Hand/Power Tools.
- Prepare students for job and career readiness. Students leave high school into a program, trade school, college, or career. Program connection to businesses
- Provide real world certifications and portfolios displaying knowledge and skills.
- Connect students, companies, and the community with the program.
