Our April monthly meeting is being held at AIDT Maritime Training Center on Thursday, April 11th. Our speaker for this month will be Mr. Jerry Mathison of Select Arc.
Mr. Mathison is a second-generation welder, his work experience includes fabrication and welding with the SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW and SAW processes. He has worked across several industry segments including; shipbuilding, process piping, pressure vessels, energy, mobile machinery, bridge and structural. He also has managed filler metals technical staff, new product launches and Sales/End user training. Jerry has worked on projects you are probably familiar with; the Freedom Tower, Washington Mutual Building, San Francisco Bay Bridge retrofit, as well as projects for the defense industry. Mr. Mathisons role at Select Arc includes assisting customers with troubleshooting, new product implementation and training, process and procedure development and improvements.
We encourage everyone to register for the meeting. However, once registered, if you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation via Eventbrite so that we can have an accurate count for food. The meeting is open to the public, but they must sign up through Eventbrite. We want the public to see what AWS is about and strengthen our membership. Please encourage others to attend.
