AWS Mobile September Meeting –
Scholarship Night

Welcome Everyone!

We are excited to have everyone back for a new year of AWS Mobile Section monthly meetings! As is tradition, our September meeting is for scholarship night. Our AWS Mobile Section should be proud of how we are able raise the funds that support these scholarships. This meeting will allow us to celebrate those efforts and give thanks to those awarded students for advancing their careers in the welding industry!

We are glad to have Clay Byron, the section’s Scholarship Chair, to be our guest speaker for the night. He will share with us how the section, and those whose financial backing make scholarships possible, impacts students each year with financial support through scholarships. Additionally, he will share with current students how to apply on the AWS scholarship portal. Finally, we will recognize our recipients in person at the meeting. We are glad that they are able to join us with guests!
