Recap: AWS Mobile Section Meeting / Student Night / ShipConstructor Weld Management Design – Apr 14th

Patrick Roberts, VP of Sales & Operations, SSI – Shipcontructor Software USA, Inc. The AWS Mobile Section held it’s April meeting at SSI – Ship Constructor Software USA in Mobile, AL. Patrick Roberts, VP of Sales & Operations at SSI was the speaker for the evening. The meeting was sponsored by Alpha Supply. Mr. Roberts spoke on the current use of ShipConstructor as a Shipbuilding Software Solution for shipbuilders, fabricators, and design agents. The Weld Management design product showcased areas where the software was utilized to integrate 3D CAD weld designs with robotic welding machines. Mr. Roberts also shared education and training opportunities available through the AIDT Maritime Training Center and the SSI My Learning Center. Jody Heusman was presented with a District Directors Award as he was not present at the March meeting when other award recipients were recognized. Congratulations Jody! Dinner was catered by Café Catering. There were 36 in attendance at the meeting. The section held a 50/50 raffle and door prize drawings.
