AWS New Orleans Section held its 22nd Annual Fishing Rodeo on April 1, 2023 at Sweetwater Marina in Delacroix Island, Louisiana. Plenty of fish were weighed in, lots of food was eaten, and a good time was had by all. The New Orleans Section would like to thank everyone who participated in the event, including our sponsors, our weighmaster Mr. Mike Skiles, and Aldo and Nona Duron (Rougarou BBQ) who volunteered to cater the event. All proceeds from the Fishing Rodeo go to support the Section’s Annual Student Welding Competition.
