Scholarships range from $3,000 &#8211; $5,000+.<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aws.org\/foundation\/page\/district-scholarships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">District Scholarships<\/a><br \/><\/strong>A minimum of $15,000 is available in each of AWS&#8217;s 22 Districts for students pursuing a degree or certificate in a welding or welding-related program. Scholarships typically range from $1,000 to $2,500+.<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aws.org\/foundation\/page\/section-named-and-district-named-scholarships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Section and District Named Scholarships<\/a><\/strong><\/p><p><strong>AWS New York Section Scholarship<\/strong><br \/>The New York Section has established a scholarship in the AWS Foundation for a student residing in the section.<\/p><p><strong>AWISCO Scholarship<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>One $1,500 scholarship annually for student in District 2 from the New York, New Jersey, or Long Island Sections<\/li><li>Student must be pursuing a two-year or four-year post-secondary degree in welding or related program.<\/li><li>Priority is to select a candidate from one of the following secondary vocational\/technical schools:<ul><li>Eastern Suffolk BOCES<\/li><li>Western Suffolk BOCES<\/li><li>Morris County Vocational School District<\/li><li>Nassau BOCES: Barry Tech Center \u2013 Westbury<\/li><li>School of Co-op Tech<\/li><li>Sussex County Technical School<\/li><li>Rockland BOCES<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aws.org\/foundation\/page\/welder-training-scholarship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Welder Training Scholarship<\/strong><\/a><br \/>For students seeking welder training in a certificate program less than two years in length through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training.
