February 2018 Meeting Announcement

Oklahoma City Section   Invites You to the February Technical Meeting
Tuesday February 13th, 2018
Diner will be served @ 6pm,
meeting begins @ 7pm

Cost: AWS members – $10, AWS student members – $7

LOCATION:

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Topic: SAW (Submerged Arc Welding)
Speaker: Michael Heinrichs, VP of Operations at Boardman.

Michael has been with Boardman for 11 years, starting out as a welder and moving on to QC, weld tech (welding engineer), Manufacturing Manager and now the Vice President of Operations.  He is active on the ASME section IX BPV Code Committee and is an active member of the Section IX Resource and Development Group, which gives code interpretations and sets the rules and guidelines for welding qualifications, welder performance qualifications, and welding code requirements.

This will be an informative meeting, and we hope to see you there.
