Recap: Joint Meeting – Meet the AWS President – Mar 17th

March 17, 2022 – Mobile, AL

Mobile, Alabama was the site of the March joint meeting for Mobile, Pascagoula, and Auburn/Opelika sections who welcomed President Polanin to the Gulf Coast. The participants were treated to presentations by the president and District Director on strengthening communications and scholarships respectively. Students present participated in drawings for door prizes and everyone enjoyed a catered dinner and an opportunity to ask the president questions about AWS programs.

Presenting President Polanin, a speaker’s gift were students Jabari Wroten,
Iississ Wonsley, Aubre’ Kelley, President Polanin, Cynthia Harris, and Richard Harris.

Students selected to receive a welding helmet from the Section were Jabari
Wroten, Iississ Wonsley, and Aubre’ Kelley. Mobile Section Chairman, Jody
Heusman, presented the hoods on behalf of the Section.
