2022 Board Elections

Philadelphia Section Members:

The Philadelphia Section is seeking leaders to ensure the Section can continue to provide value for the 624 active AWS Members – and countless others involved in the industry – in the Philadelphia area.

Executive Committee roles, including Section Chair, as well as Section Committee roles, such as Section Membership Committee Chairperson, Certification Committee Chairperson, Publicity Committee Chairperson, and Student Member Liaison are available for the coming year (one-year term beginning in June).

These roles allow individuals with an interest of applying existing leadership skills – or those who are interested in developing/refining leadership skills – to make a significant impact in an area they are passionate about.

Not ready for an Executive Committee role but still want to help?
There are opportunities for anyone who is interested in becoming more involved to make an impact regardless of experience or free time. This is your Section, and we want it to deliver as much value for you as possible. The only way we can do that is by gaining your input.

  • Have an idea for an outing that would interest members?
  • Want to serve as a speaker for an upcoming meeting?
  • Have a location that could host a Section meeting/event?
  • Have special skills (marketing, social media, event planning, etc.) that you would like to share?
  • Does your company have items to donate that the Section could raffle off?

The AWS Philadelphia Section currently serves 624 members across the following areas:

In Pennsylvania to include Philadelphia and Delaware Counties.  In Chester County south of Honey Brook, and the south half of Bucks Mercer, Burlington, Ocean, Atlantic, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland and Cape May Counties.

In Delaware to include New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties.

In Maryland to include Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Talbot, Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset and Worcester Counties.
