<\/a>\nThe Pittsburgh AWS Section is proud to present a full line up of plant tours and technical presentations for its members for the 2019 \u2013 2020 year.<\/p>\n

I hope that you will find one of the meetings we have scheduled of interest and plan to attend. If you have any ideas for our chapter or suggestions for a future meeting or plant tour, please contact any of our Board members.<\/p>\n\n

39th Annual Student Weld-Off Awards Ceremony
\nTuesday, February 11th, 2020
\nTitle: Motorsports Welding and Lessons learned
\nSpeaker: Dan Klingman (Lincoln Electric Co.)<\/strong><\/h3>\n \n

Dan Klingman began his career at Lincoln Electric in 1994. Since that time, he has worked\nas a production welder, robotic operator, application engineering technician, and robotic\napplications technologist. Since 2004 he is working in the technical training department\nfocusing on the skilled trades. In addition, he continues to train on advanced technology,\nand advanced motorsports training programs. In 2020 Dan became the Manager,\nEducational Programing and is responsible for managing the Lincoln Electric LEEPS\/NC3\nprogram in the US and the skilled trades program nationally. Dan is also an active member\nof the National Skills USA welding committee and has been a trackside welder at the\nIndianapolis 500 since 2006. Dan earned his AWS CWI\/CWE in 2012.<\/p>\n

Weld-Off recognition and awards will be presented.<\/p>\n\n
