Greetings welding community,
I hope this message finds everyone healthy and safe.
The last time I wrote a message for our bulletin was to notify everyone that the Tidewater Section would be putting all activities on hold until further notice. I had no idea that this pandemic would still be with us in December of 2020. We have all been experiencing a way of life I do not think we could have imagined. Many schools are still doing remote learning, some of our favoriterestaurants are either closed or working with reduced seating, some of us are still looking for the elusive rolls of paper towels and toilet paper and we are all wearing masks to control the spread of this thing called COVID.
We are getting ready to put 2020 behind us and look forward to getting back to a more normal way of life in 2021. As part of this getting back to normal thing, I want to step outside of my comfort zone in January and host a Zoom meeting and hope many of you can join us.
