If you are a CWI looking for Professional Development Hours (PDHs), this is a great opportunity!

FOR CWIs, BY CWIs

April 9, 2022

9:00AM-5:30PM MDT

If you are a CWI looking for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for your 9-year renewal (80 are required), there is an upcoming opportunity. The College of Southern Idaho is hosting an all-day seminar series on Saturday, April 9, on their campus in Twin Falls, Idaho, 9 am to 5:30 pm.

There will be 8 seminars available, led by active CWIs, on topics of interest to CWIs in the region. The complete range of topics is yet to be determined, but all seminars will be qualified for AWS PDHs. You will receive a certificate, and your name and CWI credential number will also be forwarded directly to AWS HQ in Miami for quick inclusion in their records.

This will also be a great opportunity to network, in our very spread-out District.

There is no cost for this session. Please respond to [email protected] if you are interested in attending, so we can plan the logistics.

There are still open slots for speakers. We are trying to present CWI topics that improve our knowledge base and are applicable to our ongoing work. If you have technical knowledge or a particularly interesting CWI business model to share, your fellow CWIs would love to hear about it in this context. This is a volunteer effort; your compensation for leading the seminar would be the PDHs, plus the professional exposure.
